Our engaging teaching and leadership programs empower students to be aspirational, successful, resilient, and lifelong learners.

Principal's message

At Glossodia Public School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student is known, valued, and cared for. We provide diverse opportunities for all students to reach their potential intellectually, physically, creatively, and social-emotionally. Our rich extracurricular programs include dance, choir, public speaking, sporting gala days, chess competitions, Aboriginal cultural activities, STEM initiatives, and the Minecraft Challenge, ensuring every child can explore their passions and talents.

Our supportive community thrives through active engagement at fortnightly assemblies, celebrating events like Education Week, NAIDOC Week, ANZAC Day, Easter Hat Parade, Book Week Parade, Grandparents Day, and Presentation Day. These gatherings strengthen our sense of belonging, with students attending school at least 95% of the time because learning is purposeful, engaging, and innovative.

Our dedicated Parents and Citizens (P&C) association enhances our community by running the uniform shop and organising events such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, the Colour Run, Night Markets, and Cake Drives. These initiatives foster connection and pride.

We are especially proud of our inclusive approach, supporting all students, including Aboriginal students, neurodiverse students and EAL/D learners  with empathy and tailored support. Join us in creating a vibrant, caring community where every student thrives.

A strong start

Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.

Growth in the classroom and beyond

We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.

Support for every family

Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.
